About CoSMoS

Since 2003 a group of scientists and practitioners has gathered each year with the purpose of exchanging information in an effort to advance our interests in small molecule analysis. The underlying charter for these meetings has not changed.

CoSMoS is entirely volunteer-driven with all of us sharing the cost. Each of us has chosen to work in a scientific discipline or related area for many of the same reasons, regardless of where we are employed. Each person approaches an analytical problem as an opportunity to solve an intriguing puzzle and in that process becomes an expert having acquired knowledge others will appreciate.

CoSMoS is a forum to encourage and facilitate that exchange. We specifically limit the number of speakers in a session as well as the total number of attendees to encourage an equal opportunity exchange for every attendee.
