Charitable Contributions

Leukemia is the #1 disease killing children and affects 10 times as many adults. This year an estimated 100,000 Americans or more will be diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease or myeloma. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has supported more than $424 million in research funding since inception in 1949 and is a model among the top, well-managed, charitable organizations.

Many of the CoSMoS board and committee members, as well as the CoSMoS community members, who present their work and attend the conference each year, work in areas directly related to pharmaceutical drug discovery and the health and life sciences industries. The Society for Small Molecule Science, through proceeds raised at the CoSMoS conference, is proud to donate a portion of the proceeds each year to ensure this work continues.
