2008 CoSMoS Annual Meeting Session Proposals and Poster Abstracts are being accepted.Take an important step to help shape this annual meeting by submitting a proposal or abstract for the 2008 Scientific Program. CoSMoS 2008 seeks a diverse and comprehensive program in all areas of small molecule pursuits. Authors wishing to contribute papers to CoSMoS 2008 must submit a preliminary abstract for review by the Program Committee. All abstracts must be submitted via email to Suzanne Decatur.
The deadline for Oral proposals (Session, Workshops) is January 9, 2008, and the deadline for Poster Abstracts is June 20, 2008.Excellence in Science Award
In 2007 The Society for Small Molecule Science, in conjunction with Amgen Corporation, announced the Excellence in Science Award. This award recognizes outstanding scientific effort by students in science, or practitioners early in their careers. This award is presented yearly.The award winner is chosen from the many scientists who will submit oral or poster abstracts for the CoSMoS 2008 Annual Conference. The recipient will receive an Honorarium and financial support to cover the cost of registration and lodging for the 2009 conference, and may also present a brief review of their work during a CoSMoS 2008 general session.
